초록 :

 

polymyxin계 항생제인 colistin(polymyxin E)와 polymyxin B는 1950년대 출시되어 현대의 drug development 절차를 거치지 않았다. 신독성 등의 문제로 사장되었다가 다제내성 음성균의 치료를 위해 임상 사용이 다시 활성화 되었다.

 

하지만 오래된 약제였기 때문에 이들의 제조법, 최적의 용량, 투여 방법의 명확성이 떨어져있었다.

 

이러한 혼란을 최소화 하기 위해 성인 환자에서의 polymyxin계 항생제의 최적의 사용을 위해  American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), International Society of Anti‐Infective Pharmacology (ISAP), Society for Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), and Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) 의 협회가 모여 가이드라인을 제시했다.

이 치료 지침은 최초의 합의된 권고안을 제공하는데 의의를 가진다.

 

 

 

국내의 polymyxin계 항생제로는 다음이 존재한다.
